Carrie Hunt McKinney, 75 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Carrie was born August 17, 1939 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Harlan and Gustie Duke Hunt and wife of the late Curtis H. McKinney. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and a retired sewing machine operator at Kanes and Kellwood . Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Stevie C. McKinney; one daughter Camela J. McKinney and two brothers Luther and Vincent Hunt.
Carrie Hunt McKinney is survived by three daughters Pamela S. McKinney of Morgantown, Ky., Sandra M. Jackson and husband Billy of Morgantown, Ky. and Terry L. Smith and husband Lanier of Springfield TN; one sister Georgia Sams of Morgantown, Ky.; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 12:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating with burial in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, January 5, 2014 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
