Carolyn Johnson, 77, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Jan. 13, 1939 to the late H.E. and Thurlow Renfrow Dye. Carolyn was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church, a factory worker at Holley Carburetor for 15 plus years and loved her grandbabies. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Forest Johnson; sisters Margie Burris, Naomi Stevens; brothers Rollin, Edwin, Maurice and Wandell Dye.

Ms. Johnson is survived by son Jonathan Johnson (Susan) of Morgantown; granddaughter Alisha Holland (Jon) of Russellville; great-grandchildren Isaiah and Alivia-Jo Holland; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Cool Springs General Baptist Church on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2 pm with Bro. David Youngblood officiating.

Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-9 pm and Thursday from 8 am until 1 pm at Smith Funeral Home, at which time we will travel to the church in procession for the funeral.
