Carole Lane Bratcher Arnold

Carole Lane Bratcher Arnold passed peacefully into eternity with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, June 12, 2022.  She was born in Morgantown, Kentucky on June 18, 1946, the daughter of Judge Andrew Jackson Bratcher and Virginia Deweese Bratcher.

Carole was a High School Home Economics teacher in Butler County and an associate at Ewald Design Associates in Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Clifton Rhodes Bratcher, Waldemar Dwight Bratcher, John Vance Bratcher, and Bennett Farris Bratcher; and her sister Laura Jackson Bratcher Daugherty. She is survived by multiple cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Carole was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church where she was a teacher of the LLL Sunday School Class, a member of the choir, and served on several committees. Those who knew Carole know how much she loved cats.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Fresenius Dialysis for providing such loving care for Carole for so many years and to Hosparus of Louisville for their care at the end of her life.

Visitation will be Friday June 17th at Pearson’s, 149 Breckenridge Ln. in Louisville from 4-7pm (EST).

Visitation will be Saturday June 18th at Jones Funeral Chapel, 927 W G L Smith St. Morgantown, Kentucky from 2:30 -4pm (CST) with a funeral service to follow at 4pm.  Interment will be at Smith Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
