Carlos W. Russ, 71 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at his residence. Carlos was born February 17, 1946, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Leslie J. and Nora Bell Belilies Russ. He was retired from Morgantown Utilities after many years of service. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Angela Faye Ryan; two brothers Edward Russ and Odell Brown and one sister Donnie Gaskey.

Carlos W. Russ is survived by his wife Betty Faye Russ of Morgantown, Kentucky; five sons Tony Russ of Muhlenberg County, Ky., Wayne Russ (Melana) of Morgantown, Ky., Michael Ryan (Amber) of Morgantown, Ky., Carlos Boyd Russ and Bobby Anthony Russ both of Morgantown, Ky.; three daughters Lisa Armour (Danny) of Muhlenberg County, Ky., Cheryl Green of Morgantown, Ky. and Betty Daugherty (James) of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters Jean Keown of Morgantown, Ky. and Opal Cherry of Bowling Green, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 11:00 am with Bro. Cody Russ officiating.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
