Carlos Hunt

Carlos Hunt, 69 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday April 29, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Carlos was born July 20, 1944 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Edna Cardwell Hunt. He was a member and served as a deacon at Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church, member of Cassia Lodge #272, member of Butler/Edmonson Gideon Camp and a brick mason and co-owner of Allied Masonry. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one grandchild Dakota Tyree and one sister Verlon Johnson.

Carlos Hunt is survived by his wife of 53 years married December 3, 1960 Anna Belle Brashars Hunt of Morgantown, Ky.; two daughters Doris Tyree husband Rocky of Morgantown, Ky. and Donna McKinney husband Kevin of Morgantown, Ky.; one granddaughter Carla Scott husband Josh of Morgantown, Ky.; four grandsons Rocky Tyree Jr. of Madisonville, Ky., Travis Vincent wife Becky of Morgantown, Ky., Nathan McKinney wife Kaylyn of Morgantown, Ky. and Gavin McKinney of Morgantown, Ky. ; three great grandsons Cainan Vincent, Cohen Scott and Isaac Vincent all of Morgantown, Ky.; three sisters Christine Phelps husband Martin of Ohio County Ky., Janice Brown husband Larry of Russellville, Ky. and Jacquita Whitaker husband Billy of Bowling Green, Ky.; two brothers Keith Hunt wife Monica of Morgantown, Ky. and Robert Hunt wife Betty of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday May 2, 2014 at 1:00pm with Bro. Ronnie Forrest and Bro. Josh Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Big Muddy Cemetery where Larry Brown, Billy Whitaker, Martin Phelps, Steve Abbott, Jr. Neighbors, Larry Morphew, Dennis Ingram, Kenneth Brashars, Alan Barrow and Sammie Hankins will be serving as Pallbearers.Visitation will be held on Thursday May 1, 2014 from 12:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Masonic Rites conducted by Cassia Lodge #272 held at 6:30pm and visitation Friday May 2, 2014 from 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
