Carlis E. McKinney

Carlis E. McKinney age 74 of Bowling Green, Kentucky, formerly of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away at his son's residence on Friday, April 6, 2012. He was a Butler Co. native, son of the late Estil and Gertrude Pate McKinney. He was a bridge builder in the construction bussiness and was preceeded in death by one daughter Linda McKinney and one son Carlis Wayne McKinney.

Carlis E. McKinney is survived by his wife Virginia Hunt McKinney of Bowling Green Ky., one son Charles McKinney and wife Mary of Morgantown Ky., two daughters Kathy Simmons and husband James of Panama City, Fl., and Lisa Nicholas of Bowling Green Ky., one brother Wilbur McKinney and wife Ruby of Morgantown Ky., and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, neices and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Belmont Cemetery with Bro. Neil Hunt officating. Burial will be in the Belmont Cemetery. The family would like to send special thanks to Billy Joe Lewis and Judy Peay. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
