Callie Christine Phelps Embry

Callie Christine Phelps Embry, 91, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Christine was born January 5, 1927 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Elsie Russell Phelps and wife of the late Harold Thomas Embry. She was a member of First Apostolic Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Linda Sue Nash and son in law Joey Nash; one granddaughter Stacey Martin and three brothers Emmitt, Glendel and Billy Phelps.

Callie Christine Phelps Embry is survived by four daughters Doris (Kenneth)Martin, Peggy Embry, Joyce Embry and Lisa Embry all of Morgantown, Kentucky; two sons Larry "Cotton" (Connie) Embry and  David (Debbie) Embry all of Morgantown, Kentucky; two granddaughters Felicia(Scott)Elmore and Kenna Martin; five grandsons Rodney (Amy) Gregory, Robert Gregory, Kyle (Ashley) Martin, Dustin (Kristi) Embry and Ryan (Amber)Nash; ten great grandchildren Tristan Elmore, Payton Howard, Callie Howard, Brittany Pedigo, Sydney Pedigo,Don Elmore, Ariana Pedigo, Emily Gregory, Aiden Martin and Carter Nash; four sisters Francis Green, Dorothy Graves, Faye (Bobby) Kellar, Margaret (Jim) Alexander; one brother Richard (Helen) Phelps; two sister in laws Marilyn and Elaine Phelps and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday February 4, 2018 at 11:00am with Bro. Brian Neighbors and Bro. David Roland officiating. Burial will be in the Wade Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 from 10:00am - 8:00pm and Sunday 9:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
