Brianna Marie Tomes, age 21, passed away Tuesday, June, 21, 2022 in Drakesboro, KY. Brianna was born Saturday, July 1, 2000 in Leitchfield, KY to Brian Kyle Tomes and Alicia Ann Hixon Meredith. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and was a 2018 graduate of Butler County High School. Brianna worked as a CNA and loved her job at Huddle House in Central City, KY. She was a Great secret keeper and enjoyed fishing, being with family and friends and was very outgoing. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Hixon, Maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Shirley Hamilton, paternal great-grandfather, Glen Ray Tomes and step-father, Josh McKinney.

Brianna is survived by one daughter, Gracelyn Jean Knight of Morgantown, KY, father,  Brian Tomes of Morgantown, KY, mother, Alicia Meredith (Stuart) of Morgantown, KY, sisters, Natalie Cardwell (Richard) of Morgantown, KY, and Lacie Tomes of Morgantown, KY, two half brothers, Mathew and Kellon Meredith, both of Morgantown, KY, paternal grandparents, Barry and Sandy Tomes of Morgantown, KY, paternal great-grandmother, Bonnie Tomes of Morgantown, KY, Gracelyn's father, Dakota Knight of Morgantown, KY and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Derrick Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
