Bonnie L. Porter Romans

Bonnie Louise Porter Romans, 86 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday December 2, 2013 at her residence. Bonnie was born August 15, 1927 in Eden Kentucky to the late Clark Thomas and Mabel Johnson Porter and wife of the late George Warden Romans. In addition to being a farmer's wife with all those duties Bonnie worked for several years as a cook at the Butler County High School. She also served as a instructor at Butler County Day Care. She was above all a homemaker whether in her own home or one of many in the area. She was well known for bringing homemade Bonnie bread or honey buns to her family and friends. Bonnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Butler County DAR Chapter. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert Edward Porter and Leonard Thomas Porter and 1 sister Aleta Conner.
Bonnie Louise Porter Romans is survived by 3 daughters; Charlotte Rogers of Morgantown, Ky., Georgia Lavern Romans of Morgantown, Ky. and Mabel Lois Boone and husband Danny of Texas; 5 grandchildren Chuck Rogers of Morgantown, Ky., Natalie Hunt and husband Royce of Morgantown, Ky., Robert Boone, Tim Boone and wife Chelsea and George Boone all of Texas; 5 great grandchildren Cam Rogers, Payton and Presley Tarrence, Maci and Beckham Boone; 2 brothers Albert Clark Porter of Pennsylvania and Michael Winston Porter and wife Kathy of Rochester, Ky.; 3 sisters Marie Crump and husband Ray, Joyce Hammers and Marguerite Tuggle all of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Friday, December 6, 2013 at 1:00pm. Burial will in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
