Bobby Taylor Shultz

Bobby Taylor Shultz, 78 of Beaver Dam, passed away, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 25, 1936 in Ohio County to the late Malloy and Mollie Taylor Shultz. Bobby was a graduate of Cromwell High School; he was a retired Bulldozer operator from Peabody Coal Company and was a 50 year member of the McHenry Masonic Lodge 800 F&AM. Mr. Shultz was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Little Bend and he attended Cool Springs Baptist Church in Beaver Dam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Malloy and Mollie Shultz.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jacqueline Fay Lee Shultz of Beaver Dam, his son, Robert Shultz of Beaver Dam, two daughters, Kimberly (Sandrick) Howard of Beaver Dam and Amy (Todd) Puckett of Beaver Dam, two sisters, Linda (Tommy) Wood of Morgantown and Doris Jean (Larry) Brown of Beaver Dam, five grandchildren, Danny Alan (Samantha) Scott II, Mallory Puckett, Noah Puckett, Bryant Howard and Malyn Howard and one great-grandchild, Charlie Scott.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 9, 2014 at William L. Danks Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery with Military honors provided by Wesley Phelps Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Thursday and 9 A.M. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
