Bobby Pendley, 84, of Provo, Ky. passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his residence. He was born in Provo, Ky. on April 26, 1932, to the late James Henry and Laura Edith Tines Pendley. Mr. Pendley was a Coal Miner, farmer and a member of Monticello Missionary Baptist Church and Casia Lodge #272. He loved baseball, fishing, and his cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucy Pendley, daughter Karon Pendley, brother Billy Pendley and sister Adeline Johnson.

He is survived by two sons David Pendley and wife Mesha of Provo, Ky., Steven Pendley and wife Patricia of Rochester, Ky.; one daughter Rita Haynes of Leitchfield, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brother Dwight Pendley and wife Carlon of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Monticello Missionary Baptist Church, Provo, Ky. on Friday, June 3rd at 2 pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating.
Burial will follow in Monticello Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 2nd from 2-8pm with a Masonic Service at 7 pm. Friday, June 3rd from 8am-1pm at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky., at this time we will be leaving in procession to the church for the funeral at 2 pm.
