Billy Tarrance, 66, of Caneyville passed away Sunday, July 14th, 2013 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on June 26th, 1947 in Grayson County, the son of the late James and Mary Lee (Mollyhorn) Tarrance. He was a retired farmer.

Billy is survived by his wife, Mae (Allen) Tarrance of Caneyville; two sons, Dale Tarrance (Alyson) of Indiana and Scott Tarrance (Courtney) of Caneyville; three grandchildren, James and Alexis Tarrance and Joshua Nelson; four brothers, Michael, Ricky, Glenn, and Kendoll all of Caneyville and four sisters, Lovell Bratcher also of Caneyville, Marcel Dockery of Morgantown, Brenda Priest of Caneyville and Betty Kerr of Leitchfield. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 17th at 1:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Jimmy Dockery and Bro. Steve Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Tarrance Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home for the Billy Tarrance Memorial Fund.
