Billy Ray Kimmel Sr. 69 of Welchs Creek, Ky. passed Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his residence. Billy was born November 26, 1945 in Muhlenberg County Kentucky to the late Jack and Essie Baggett Kimmel. He was of the Church of Christ Faith and a retired timber cutter. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Lura Kirtley; three brothers Marshall, Ollie and James Kimmel and three half brothers.
Billy Ray Kimmel Sr. is survived by his wife of 49 years Glenna Sharon Taylor Kimmel of Welchs Creek, Ky.; two sons Billy Ray Kimmel Jr. and wife Amanda of Morgantown, Ky. and Jeffrey Dewayne Kimmel and wife Gina of Morgantown, Ky.; four grandsons Trenton Kimmel and wife Tori, Trevor, Austin and Devin Kimmel; three granddaughters Elesha Joiner and husband Keith, Bailey and Madison" Bug" Kimmel; five great granddaughters Carlee, Taylor, Addison, Tera and Trinity ; two brothers Talpha and William Kimmel both of Muhlenberg, Co. Ky.; one sister Judy Curtis of Muhlenberg, Co. Ky.; three sister in laws Nevesta Odle and Elaine Mathis both of Valley  Station Ky. and Sandra Woosley of Morgantown, Ky. and a host of family and friends.
