Billy Jones, age 89, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at Greenview Regional Hospital. Mr. Jones was born July 19, 1924 in Butler Co. to the late Abe K. and Mattie Bell Rutherford Jones. Billy was a retired mechanic and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church. He was also a WWII Veteran that served in the Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Juanita Jones; sisters: Kathlean Brown and Anne Davis; brothers: Paul Jones, Peck Jones, Casey Jones and A.K. Jones Jr.

Mr. Jones is survived by one sister: Mattie Phal; several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and special friend: Jo Haley.

Funeral service will be at the Clear Fork Baptist Church in Rockfield on Monday, October 14 at 11 a.m. with Bro. David Daugherty and Bro. Roger Skipworth officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 13 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service all at Clear Fork Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
