Billy Gene Johnson, 73 of Brooklyn, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his residence after a long and lengthy illness. Billy was born on Monday May 26, 1947 in the Brooklyn Community of Butler County, KY to the union of the late Oval and Nelmo Cox Johnson. He was a 1967 graduate of Butler County High School, a farmer and construction worker. Billy loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Jerry Lee Johnson.

Billy Gene Johnson is survived by his wife of 54 years Juileen Swift Johnson; two sons Timmy Gene Johnson and wife Janet, Jeff Johnson and wife Angela; two grandchildren Brent Johnson and Brittany Crandell and husband Calvin; one great grandson Timothy Wade Crandell all of Brooklyn, KY; two special cousins Rodney Johnson and Donna Heil of Louisville, KY.

All services are private with a private burial in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
