BILLY COLEMAN, 86, passed away on August 26, 2017. He was a retired employee of Brown and Williamson, a Ky. Colonel, a member of the VFW, American Legion and Community General Baptist Church, and a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Shirley (Knight) Coleman; his son, John Coleman, and daughter, Debbie Coleman.

Survivors include his children, David Coleman and Linda Upton (Charles); 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and his special friend, Zella Maiden.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
