Betty Lois Wester Peay age 95 of Morgantown, KY passed away on the 6th day July 2023 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Lois was born on the 15th day of July 1927 in Rochester, KY to the union of the late Floyd and Lida Brown Wester. Lois was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family, sewing, and KY Wildcat Basketball. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Churley Peay, one daughter Linda Givens, one great grandson Joshua Givens, six sisters Avel Andrews, Marguerite Hammers, Vennice Brown, Louise Poole, Martine Jenkins, and Wilma Lee Schmaker, three brothers Marvin, Harry, and Shelby Wester one son in law Alton Givens.

Betty Lois Wester Peay is survived by one daughter Phyllis Pendley and husband Melvin of Morgantown Ky., two grandsons Jeff Givens of Sevierville Tn., and Greg Pendley of Morgantown Ky., two great grandchildren Colten Givens of Pennsylvania and Jenna Rae Pendley of Bowling Green Ky., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gary Oberhausen officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM until funeral service time at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International P.O.
