Betty Lee Farris Shuman, age 92, of Morgantown, KY departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Andy Farris and Nellie Whobrey Farris. She was married to Blair C. Shuman, who also preceded her in death.

She was a housewife, caring mother and grandmother and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one son, William Henry Laird (Wanda) of Louisville, KY; four daughters, Jane Woodcock (James) of Brownsville, Joyce Huddleston of Lebanon Junction, June Speck of Louisville and Paula Lawrence of Mount Washington; one sister Lucy Wolverton of Georgia; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by one daughter Joan Bates; one great grandson Shane Huddleston and two son-in-laws, Donald Huddleston and Horace Speck.

Interment will be in Sweeden Church Cemetery.
