Bernice J. Starcher

Bernice J. Starcher, 81 of Rochester, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2020 at the Heartford Hospice House in Owensboro, Kentucky. Bernice was born January 20, 1939 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the union of  Zeremba G. and Jennie May Pierce Baker and wife of 64 years to the late Marshall Starcher. She was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Rochester, Kentucky and enjoyed sewing, quilting, flowers and watching NASCAR. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother William Eugene Baker. 

Bernice J. Starcher is survived by one son Marshall Starcher (Bobbi) of Royson, GA; one daughter Melanie Raemsch (Hank) of Rochester, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; two sisters Lorene Jenkins (Jerry) of Drakesboro, KY and Frances Stockman (Bob) of Virginia; two brothers Zeremba Baker of Greenville, KY and Joseph Baker of Virginia and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services and burial will be held at the Rochester Cemetery Saturday March 14, 2020 at 11:00am and a Celebration of Life will be held at the New Midway Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 12:00pm.
