The Butler County Track and Field Team continued their season on Thursday, April 28^th at McLean County, and were able to bring home 2^nd place overall. The Bears won many of the track events throughout the night, competing against several school in the area at the McLean All-Comers event. The teams included McLean, Muhlenburg, Hancock, and Ohio Counties. “This is one of the single best meets of the season for us so far.” Explained Coach Lindsey. “We are shaping up for a great showing at Regionals this year.” 

Hannah Perry was one of the many athletes that won their respective events, by winning the 800 meter run, and being a part of a 1^st place finish in the 4X800 meter relay and 2^nd in the 4X200 meter relay. “This is a wonderful feeling. You work so hard at practice, and to see the harvest tonight, well it’s great!” Described Perry. 

 

Butler County will continue its season at WKU Raider Run on Saturday, May 7^th.
