BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Barry Edward Hunter, 74, of Brownsville passed away at 11:20 AM June 6, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
The Toledo, OH native was a retired US Navy veteran, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and a member of Shadyland Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Allen Willis Hunter and Dorothy Ruth McNutt Hunter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Lindsey.

Memorial service will be at 12 Noon Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at 11:00 AM.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ellen Meserve Hunter; a son, John Hunter (Crystal) of Jetson; a son-in-law, Todd Lindsey (Tabitha) of Brownsville; a brother, Norman Hunter (Ronna Lee) of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Sharon Satterfield, Delana Jones, Jessica Locke, Cheyenne Lindsey, Mary Elizabeth Hunter, Emily Grace Hunter, Angel Grubruck and Dillon Grubruck; a niece, Becky Sargent (Don); and two nephews, Mathew Hunter and Kevin Hunter.
