Barbara Dell Greathouse, age 84 of Huntsville, KY passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her residence. Barbara was born on Saturday, September 25, 1937 in Butler County, KY to the late Shellie and Annie Flewallen Brown and wife of the late Harold Ray Greathouse. She was a member of the Monticello Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Sumitomo Electrical Wiring in Morgantown, KY after 12 years of service. Barbara enjoyed gardening, traveling out west, growing flowers, spending time with her great grandchildren and she really enjoyed going to casino's. She loved watching sports especially UK Basketball, NBA and NFL games. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three brothers Charlie, Denzil and Bobby Brown and four sisters Carolyn Brown, Doris Mitchell, June Church and Betty Mattox. 

Barbara Greathouse is survived by one son Ricky Greathouse (Connie) of Provo, KY; two daughters Lori Greathouse McKinney (Kevin) of Glasgow, KY and Penny Greathouse of Huntsville, KY; one sister Shirley Smith (David) of Russellville, KY; one grandson Jacob Greathouse; two step grandsons Bryan Barks and Jeremy Barks; one great granddaughter Lillian Greathouse; six step great grandchildren Embry Wilson, Conner, Madelyn, Kaelin, Alexander and Pippa Barks; two step great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Speaker Stephen Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Union Church Cemetery where Jacob Greathouse, Stephen Brown, Corey Brown, Paul Pendley, Kevin McKinney and Jeremy Barks will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00 am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
