Barbara Ann Vaughn Turner

Barbara Ann Vaughn Turner, 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday January 8, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Barbara was born May 20, 1937 in Greenville, KY to the union of Cecil and Marie Sorrels Vaughn. She was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church, avid Kentucky fan, faithful listener to lunch at the Z and was known as Butler County Barb. She loved spend time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Shorty Fleming; one sister Pat Maxfield and special cousin Betty Worth.

Barbara Turner is survived by her husband  of 22 years Bill Turner of Morgantown, KY; two daughters Sherry Lee of Hartford, KY and Kelly Cooke (Timothy) of Drakesboro, KY; five grandchildren Brian Lee (Amanda) of Beaver Dam, KY, Amanda Pharis (Dean) of Beaver Dam, KY, Ashley Lee of Centertown, KY, Dustin Cooke of Drakesboro, KY and Scott Cooke of Drakesboro, KY; seven great grandchildren Brennen and Avery Lee, Kala, Kelci and Kylie Pharis, Taya Lee and Addyson Graves and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Rochester Missionary Baptist Church on Friday January 10, 2020 at 11:00am with Bro. Roger Helsey and Bro. Timmy Burden officiating. Burial will be held in the Rochester Cemetery where Dustin and Scott Cooke, Brian Lee, Dean Pharris, Justin and Jacob Burden will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 9, 2020 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Friday 9:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Rochester Missionary Baptist Church.
