Barbara Allen Johnson Hatcher, age 85 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at her daughter's residence. Barbara was born on Saturday, August 27, 1938 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Leonard and Martha Phelps Johnson and wife of the late David Earl Hatcher. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church, Clara Lee Circle and a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, working in her flowers, and spending time with her family. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by six siblings Billy Joe Johnson, L.J. Johnson, Meda Brown, Jane Lindsey, Mary Bannon and Margie Johnson. 

Barbara Hatcher is survived by two daughters Judith Renfrow (Lawan) and Patricia Burden (Teddy) both of Morgantown, KY; four sons David D. Hatcher of Morgantown, KY, Bradley J. Hatcher (Connie) of Morgantown, KY, Kevin Hatcher (Maxine) of Caneyville, KY and Steve Hatcher (Felicia) of Morgantown, KY; seven grandchildren Tabitha Parker (Jim), Tonya White (Clint), Jeffrey Renfrow, Crystal Burden, Eric Hatcher (Amanda), Ethan Hatcher (Kenzie) and Lilly Hatcher; several step grandchildren; five great grandchildren Austin Kuprion, Jocelyn Word, Kaden White, Drew Hatcher and Annabella Hatcher; three great great grandchildren Kenzley and Keston Word and Acen Kuprion; several step great grandchildren; three siblings Sarah Skaggs of Brownsville, KY, Sonny Johnson (Janette) of Morgantown, KY and Wayne Johnson of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00am with Bro. Greg Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens where her four sons David, Bradley, Kevin and Steve Hatcher and two grandsons Eric and Ethan Hatcher will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
