Ava Margaret Smith Brown

Ava Margaret Brown, 55  of Old Hickory, Tn., passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus in Madison, Tn. Mrs. Brown was born July 25, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George W. Smith Jr. & Mildred Katherine Johnson Smith. She was an Alteration Manager for Dillard's at the Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville, Tn. She was preceded in death by one brother Marvin Lee Smith.  

Ava Margaret Smith Brown is survived  by  husband Ronald Douglas Brown Jr. of Old Hickory, Tn.; 2 brothers George W. Smith III and wife Charlotte of Bowling Green, Ky., Michael A. Smith and wife Stephanie of Franklin, Ky.; 1 sister Patty Carroll of Russellville, Ky.; 8 nephews George Paul Smith and wife Victoria , Mark Thomas Smith and wife Amy, Zack Schwarzkopf  all of Bowling Green, Noah Smith of Franklin, Ky., Doug, Scott & Matthew Carroll all of Russellville, Ky. Chase Smith of Winchester, Ky.; 3 aunts Carolyn Flener and Husband H.C. of Morgantown, Mildred Romans of Morgantown, Nada Smith of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and several cousins.
       
Graveside service will be held  at the Aberdeen Cemetery Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating . Burial will follow in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
