Ashley Nicole Phelps

Ashley Nicole Phelps, 30 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 at the Jewish Hospital Rudd Heart and Lung Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Ashley was born October 15th, 1987 in Louisville, KY to the late Stonie Twitty and Kathy Twitty of Morgantown.

Ashley is survived by her husband, Benjamin Kyle Phelps and 3 daughters, Mishka Elizabeth, Amelie Coraline, and Hadassah, aka Pickle, Rose Phelps; her mother Kathy Twitty,  Sister Leslie Adkins (Dirk), brothers Travis Baxter (Amy), and Dustin Baxter (Pam); Aunt Donna Pritchett, Uncle Billy Head (Sheila), Cousins Chuck and Tricia; Nieces Kayley Jarboe, Kayla Wilkerson, Jordan Phelps, and Ruby Albin; Nephews Sean and Chris Sebastian, and Wyatt and Ayden Adkins. Ashley also leaves behind in-laws Chris and Vickie Phelps and a loving sister in law, Casey Albin (Travis). A best friend since childhood, Haley Fincher, and her loving and faithful fur baby, Mars.

Ashley was preceded in death by her father Stonie Twitty, grandparents Joseph and Dorothy Head, Barney and Geneva Twitty, and a special grandmother Jeanette Davidson.

Ashley was a member of Bragg City Baptist Church in Bragg City, MO. She had her Masters in Social Work and worked at Lifeskills here in Morgantown as a Therapist. She loved her family and friends, and all animals big and small. She was a beautiful person that loved everyone she met. She wanted everyone to love and be kind to each other. 

Ashley's girls would like to tell everyone they loved their mommy very much, and that she was very loving. Her mom says she will always be her Snookie. 

Services for Ashley will be on Saturday, September 8th at Morgantown Community Church located at 2911 Bowling Green Rd. in Morgantown, KY. Service will begin at 1 p.m., and the doors will open at noon. Burial will be a private family event.
