Artie Wayne Bratcher, 64, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his residence. Artie Wayne was born July 20, 1950 in Butler County to the late Artie and Polly Bratcher. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on junk cars. He was member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his wife Jo Karen Bratcher of Morgantown; two daughters: Charity Cardwell of Morgantown and Angeline Mullen and husband Donnie of Morgantown; two sons: Scott W. Bratcher of Morgantown, Joey Summers and wife Jaime of Morgantown; three grandchildren: Alex, Michelle and Ethan Cardwell of Morgantown.

Funeral will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5:30pm-9pm and Thursday, December 11, 2014- 8am- until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
