Arthur Ray Smith, 74 of Drakesboro, Ky. passed away Sat. October 8, 2011 at the Muhlenberg County Community Hospital in Greenville, Ky. He was a West Virginia native, son of the late Ralph Smith and Ruth Hedreck Brunner. Arthur was a Army Veteran and retired coal miner. Arthur Ray Smith is survived by his wife Anita Rager Smith of Drakesboro, Ky; children LaDonna Mahan of Rochester, Ky., Sandra Silvestri of Belton, Ky. and Anita France of Drakesboro, Ky; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
