Anthony Allen "Tony" Phelps, age 52 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in Morgantown, KY. Tony was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1971 in Louisville, KY to the late Charlie Lee Phelps and Jeanette Fishburn Davidson. He was a installation superintendent for Dematic for 31 years and of the Baptist Faith. Tony enjoyed fishing, wood working, hunting, spending time with the grandchildren and he loved his dog Marley. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his step mom Patricia Phelps and one sister Pamela Patterson. 

Anthony Allen "Tony" Phelps is survived by his wife of 25 1/2 years Jennifer Phelps of Morgantown, KY; two daughters Ashley Neighbors (Todd) and Lindsey Embry (Trapper) both of Morgantown, KY; one son Nic Phelps of Morgantown, KY; six grandchildren Ayden Neighbors, Ethan Morris, Easton Neighbors, Alyssa Morris, Tate Embry and Josie Embry all of Morgantown, KY; six siblings Chris Phelps (Vickie) of Morgantown, KY, Charlotte Hanson (Lyle) of Palmer, Alaska, Wally Phelps (Cindy) of Morgantown, KY, Mike Patterson (Darlene) of Brook Haven, MS, David Patterson of Morgantown, KY and Chuck Phelps of Texas; mother in law Beverly Smith (Mike Bennet) of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:00pm with Bro. Kenny Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery where Nic Phelps, Trapper Embry, Nick Clark, Dustin Wester, Larry Cooper and Mike Bennet will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 4:30pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
