Anna M. Shepherd, 73 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence. Anna was born on Thursday July 3, 1947 in Warren County, KY to the union of the late Frank and Lorene Deweese Johnson. She was a member of Temple Hill General Baptist Church and she worked at Kane's, Kellwood and Sumitomo over the years. Anna was a homemaker and loved gardening, bird watching and sewing. One of her greatest joys was helping people. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters Kathleen Johnson, Aline Phelps and Maxine Johnson Willoughby; one brother Billy Johnson and son-in-law Patrick Mitchell.

Anna M. Shepherd is survived by her husband of 53 years Doran Wayne Shepherd of Morgantown, KY; one daughter Ivah Mitchell of Bowling Green, KY; two sons Steven Shepherd (Amber) of Morgantown, KY and Daniel Shepherd of Morgantown, KY; one sister Jerlene Wilkerson of Roundhill, KY; five grandchildren Tayor Jared (William), Paige Shepherd, Daniel Ray Shepherd, Heather Mitchell and Dylan W. Shepherd; seven great grandchildren William Jared, Bennett Jared, Axel Bedel, Remington Jared, Kyralynne Mitchell, Laynie Bedel and Katana Mitchell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2:00pm with Bro. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will be held in the Peyton Phelps Cemetery where Daniel, Dylan, Steven, Daniel Ray Shepherd, Kenny Fields, Ivah Mitchell and William Jared will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 10: 00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
