Anna Langdon

Anna Langdon, age 88, of Leitchfield KY, passed away Friday, (December 2, 2016) at the Grayson Manor in Leitchfield.

She was born on November 14, 1928 in Butler County, KY, the daughter of the late Lonnie Levi and Manda Elizabeth Beasley Raymer.

She retired from Kane Manufacturing in 1967, after 20 years of employment. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning, quilting, flowers, and spending time with family and her grandchildren. She married the love of her life on September 29, 1947, Herschel Langdon. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was saved as a young girl at Slate Bank Church, and later became a member of Rabbit Flat Church.

She is survived by her husband, Hershell Langdon, two daughters, Barbara Harrison and Linda Whobrey (Joey) all of Leitchfield; and one son, Ricky Langdon (Margaret) of Anneta; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Junior Raymer of Louisville; special niece, Debbie Cook, and several other nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Marie Newton, and two brothers, Ray and Stoy Raymer.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (December 5, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Lance Wilson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
