Alton F. Givens, age 81 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Alton was born on Thursday,  April 11, 1940 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Percy and Esther Hammers Givens and husband of the late Linda Peay Givens. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church. Alton retired from Emerson Electric after 30 years and he loved to fish. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one grandson Joshua Givens and two sisters Pauline Bailey and Pearl Butler. 

Alton F. Givens is survived by one son Jeff Givens (fiancee Julie Eskew) of Gatlinburg, TN; one grandson Colten Givens of Pennsylvania; one brother Earl Givens (Carol) of Indiana; three nieces Karen Morgan of Hopkinsville, KY, Linda Kirby of Quality, KY and Tammy Givens of Indiana; three nephews Danny Butler of Owensboro, KY, Terry Butler of Owensboro, KY and Randy Givens of Indiana.
