Alma Jean Morris, 63 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky. Alma Jean was born November 3, 1952, in Butler County Kentucky to Beulah Dearing. She was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church and a caregiver. She is preceded in death by one brother Lee Dearing.
Alma Jean Morris is survived by her loving husband Kermit Morris of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Phillip David Charlton (fiance Connie) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Christopher Thomas Morris (Christy) of Morgantown, Ky.; step daughter Christina Hancock (Chris) of Morgantown, Ky.; mother Beulah Dearing of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister Janice Glass (Remus) of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother Bobby Dearing (Oleta) of Franklin, Ky.; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, October 13, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Bobby Hatcher and Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating.
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
