Alma Jean Keown, age 78, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at her daughter's residence in Morgantown. Alma was born on April 27, 1942 in Butler County to the union of Leslie Jasper and Nora Belilies Russ. She was a homemaker, loved her cat Tom, and enjoyed gardening and canning. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by Volley Doris Keown; a daughter-Linda Jean Gray; one sister-Donnie Gaskey; three brothers-Edward and Carlos Russ, and Odell Brown.

Alma Jean Keown is survived by two daughters-Ann Howard and husband Ed of Morgantown; and Sandra Rife and husband Jeffro of Morgantown; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister-Opal Cannon Cherry of Bowling Green; two sisters-in-law- Betty Russ of Morgantown and Betty F. Russ of Morgantwn; and several neices and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, a drive-thru vistation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel. The funeral services will be private along with a private graveside service in the Riverview Cemetery with Bro. Cody Russ and Bro. Lindle Keown officiating.
