Allen Ray Thomas Norris

Allen Ray Thomas Norris, a cherished and beloved infant, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Franklin, Kentucky. Born on July 29, 2024, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Allen's time on earth was brief, yet his impact on those around him was profound and lasting.

Despite his tender age, Allen's joyful spirit and infectious smile brought immense joy to his family. He was a beacon of light in the lives of his parents, Destiny Gipe of Franklin, KY, and Dean Norris of Morgantown, KY. Allen's presence was a gift to his maternal grandparents, May Gipe of Franklin, KY, and Shane Gipe of Bowling Green, KY, as well as to his paternal grandparents, Richard and Jayme Norris of Morgantown, KY.

Allen was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Merle and Darlene Norris, James and Patricia Elmore, and his maternal great grandparents, Kenneth and Sue Poston. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving family, including his uncles Austin Norris (Madison) of Bowling Green, KY, Shane Norris (Madison) of Morgantown, KY, Levi Gipe of Bowling Green, KY, Jayden Gipe of Bowling Green, KY, Jordan Peay of Morgantown, KY, Stetson Williams of Central City, KY, Richard Wellin (Alexandra) of Illinois, Johnny Sierra of Bowling Green, KY, Shian Carter (Sabrina) of Morgantown, KY, and Easton Elmore of Morgantown, KY.

His aunts, Lillian Johnson (Nathan Brasher) of Bowling Green, KY, Alexis Hudson of Morgantown, KY, Ciara Gipe of Bowling Green, KY, Miranda Gipe of Franklin, KY, Cheyanne Elmore (Davis) of Morgantown, KY, Jayme, Ashley Johnson of Morgantown, KY and Jayme (Nicky) and their children Lexie and Hunter all of Ohio County, KY,  will forever hold Allen in their hearts. Great uncles and great aunts, John and Carly Elmore of Morgantown, KY, and Cathy Ackerman (Ronnie) of Louisville, KY, along with his maternal great grandparents, Barbara and Kenneth Hudson of Franklin, KY, and paternal great great grandfather, Doyle Elmore of Morgantown, KY.

Allen's brief journey was filled with moments of happiness and discovery. He found pleasure in the simple joys of life, such as sitting outside in his walker, where he could feel the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze. His eyes would light up while watching his favorite shows, SpongeBob, Dinosaurs, and PJ Mask, and he showed an early love for the excitement of football. The family will remember Allen as a sweet soul who loved spending time with everyone, his laughter and delight in the world around him serving as a reminder of the preciousness of life.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 1:00pm with Bro. Phillip Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the Youngtown Cemetery where his family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 1:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
