Allen Lee Brooks Sr. 72 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday February 9, 2021 at his residence. Allen was born on Sunday February 6, 1949 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late James A. and Dorothy Cox Brooks who survives. He was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, United States Army Vietnam Veteran and a retired mechanic from Trim Master in Leitchfield, KY . Allen loved working in his garden, especially growing big water melons and spending time with family.

Allen Lee Brooks Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Sandy Daugherty Brooks; one daughter Jennifer McCombs (Todd); two sons Allen Brooks Jr (Tammy) and Darrel Brooks (Amanda); step son William Givens (Jennifer); mother Dorothy Brooks; one brother Bobby Brooks all of Morgantown, KY ; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 12, 2021 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Private funeral services will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 with Bro. Gerald Geary officiating. Burial will be held in the Mt Vernon Cemetery where Ethan & Seth McCombs, Chad Frank, Jayden Stevenson, James, Stephan and Trent Brooks.
