Allen Franklin Sharp, 83 of Henderson, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his residence. Allen was born Thursday August 19, 1937 in Livingston, Kentucky to the late Earl and Fannie Susan Wood Sharp. He was of the Baptist faith, a United States Army Veteran, and a retired forklift operator at Zenith Electronics. Allen enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog Charlie. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Leon, Wesley, and Perry Sharp, one sister Mallie Hargis, and three grandsons James Lacefield Jr, Caleb, and Cain Sharp.

Allen Franklin Sharp is survived by his wife of 59 years Pauline Embry Sharp; three children Richard Sharp wife Mary, Tammy Goolsby husband Don and Danny Sharp; six grandchildren Eric Sharp, Amy Martinez, Noah Sharp, Emily Sharp, Brandy McLean, and Michael Bryant; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 1:00pm with Bro. Larry Lacefield officiating. Burial will be held in the Wilson Home Cemetery where Billy Embry, Harold Baxter, Noah Sharp, Gabriel Clary, Aden Carter, and Benjamin Martinez will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
