Aline Embry Cockerell, 93 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at her son's residence. Aline was born March 6, 1925, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Noah and Ola Embry Embry and wife of the late Noble Owen Cockerell. She was a member of Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two daughters Vonnell Hillard and Connie Hunt; 3 brothers Audra, Reacil and James H. Embry and one sister Artie Willoughby.

Aline Embry Cockerell is survived by 10 children Kathleen Woodcock Gibb and husband Kenneth of Morgantown, KY, Jewelene Towery and husband John of Utica, Floyd Noble Cockerell and wife Connie Sue of Utica, Charles Cockerell and wife Stephani of Florida, Alice Mae Simmons and husband Steve of Owensboro, KY, Max Owen Cockerell and wife Sharon of Lawrenceburg, KY, Diane Cockerell of Morgantown, KY, David Cockerell of Owensboro, KY, Ronnie Cockerell of Owensboro, KY and Jerry Wayne Cockerell and wife Christie of Quality, KY; 31 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters Ola Mae Wilson of Morgantown, KY and Juanita Shephard of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, June 22, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
