Alice Hayse, 74, of Caneyville, passed away Thursday, April 11th, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on January 28th, 1939 in GraysonCounty, the daughter of the late Shelton and Neva Geary Payton. She was a loving wife and mother that will be missed very much by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Willie M. Hayse; their son, John Hayse (Judy) of Horse Branch; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Joe Hayse.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Terry Tarrance will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Saturday after 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
