Albin Johnson, age 74 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Albin was born on Thursday, November 11, 1948 in Bee Springs, KY to the union of the late Everett and Mable Pate Johnson. He was a member of the American Legion and he attended Carve Rock Baptist Church. Albin was a retired drywall finisher, who enjoyed reading and watching wrestling. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one grandson Terry Bradshaw. 

Albin Johnson is survived by his wife of 45 years Gracie Johnson of Morgantown, KY; four sons David Johnson (Ashley) of Morgantown, KY, Donnie Cockrell (Elizabeth) Owensboro, KY, Ronnie Cockrell of Roundhill, KY and Douglas Johnson of Louisville, KY; two daughters Vaunita Johnson of Louisville, KY and Connie Johnson of Louisville, KY; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; four brothers Wallace Johnson of Brownsville, KY, Mark Johnson of Bowling Green, KY, Garrold Johnson (Janice) of Pig, KY and Tony Johnson of Bowling Green, KY; one sister Delores Johnson of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 3:00pm with Bro. Mark Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Carve Rock Cemetery where military rights will be presented by the Ohio County AM VETS, where David Johnson, Chris Johnson, Donnie, Dylan, Damon and Ronnie Dale Cockrell will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4:00 pm - 7:00pm and Wednesday 1:00pm until funeral time at 3:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
