Alan Staples, age 46, of Morgantown passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012, at his residence. The Indiana native was born April 25, 1965. He was an electrician, farmer and a maintenance worker and a member of Monticello Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Freeman and Dorothy Mae Staples.
He is survived by his Wife: Cathy Staples of Morgantown, 2 Daughters: Kayla Staples and Monica Smith both of Morgantown, 1 Son: Paul Staples of Morgantown, 2 grandsons: Kaeden Deweese and Isiah Nicewinter both of Morgantown and 1 Brother: James Staples of Bowling Green.
Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012,  at Monticello Baptist Church, with Bro. Randy Burns officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, at 4:30 p.m. until funeral at the church. Burial will be at Monticello Cemetery
