Adril Embry

Adril Glenn Embry, 77, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Medical Center Hospital, Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Butler County on December 24, 1938 to the late Recil and Ruby Burden Embry. He was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church, a self employed logger and enjoyed shooting pool and being with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Embry.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Genevieve Embry of Morgantown; daughter Alicia Jones (Eddie) of Bowling Green; son Adril Embry Jr. of Morgantown; 3 grandchildren Jennifer Leigh Hart (Nathan) of Owensboro, Ky., Christopher G. Jones (Brittney) of Bowling Green, Ondrea Elise Lawson (Andrey) of Bowling Green; 5 great grandchildren Eyan Justus Jones, Iyla Ruth Jones, Maebry Rose Jones, Oliver Corbet Lawson and Iris Noelle Hart; three sisters Josephine Barks of Morgantown, Dee Renfrow (J.B.) of Morgantown, Jean Felty (Ross) of Morgantown; sister-in-law Janice Embry of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown on Tuesday, September 20th at 11 am with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Aberdeen Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Monday, September 19th from 4-8pm and Tuesday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
