Earl Marion Wingfield

Earl Marion Wingfield, 90, of Lillian, AL passed away Wednesday, August 27. 2014. He was a native of Butler County, KY and served in the United States Army. He also worked at Jacksonville Naval Airbase with computers and testing. He started his career as a TV technician for many years, and was an electronic wizard. Earl was involved in church all of his life, attending Brownsville Assembly of God until he wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons. He enjoyed being a ham radio operator.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille C. Wingfield; four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth “Ken” Wingfield (Elizabeth); granddaughter, Darla Williamson (Derick) and grandson, Jason Wingfield.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 1, 2014 at Barrancas National Cemetery with Pastor Terry VanGuilder officiating.
