Alice Andrews Forbes, age 92, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Morgantown, KY on June 28, 1934.  Alice was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  She worked at Kane’s, Kellwood, Firestone and retired from Sumitomo.  Alice enjoyed playing games and running around on her farm.  She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Bonnie Mayhugh Andrews; sister June Andrews; son-in-law Moss Phelps; step-grandson Michael Tucker.

She is survived by her children Loyd Forbes of Morgantown, Margaret Ann Phelps of Morgantown, Bobby Forbes of Morgantown and Mary Tucker-June (Dick) of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren Jason Forbes, Timmy Phelps, James Allen Whittinghill, Garrett Tucker, Andrew Forbes, Josh Phelps, Jimmy and Michael Tucker; great-grandchildren Laela, Alyssa, Keegan, Levi, Amelia, Aaliyah; great-great granddaughter Ashlee and several cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McIntosh officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gardner Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15 from 4:30pm until 8:00pm and Thursday, July 16 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
