Brian Nathaniel Neighbors, age 54, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on October 9, 1971, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by love, laughter, and a strong work ethic. Brian was a Butler County High School graduate, Class of 1991, and carried the values of hard work and dedication with him throughout his life. He was known by those who loved him as a loving, funny, and handy man who could always be counted on when something needed fixed or when a smile was needed most.

Brian worked for Fluor Daniels as a Maintenance Mechanic, where he applied his skills and dependable nature to his work each day. He took pride in being able to repair, build, and improve things with his hands, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. 

He enjoyed spending his time camping, razor riding with the grandkids, dirt track racing, fishing, and tinkering in the shop with his dad. These were the moments that brought him the greatest joy, especially when shared with family. Brian treasured the simple pleasures of life and found happiness in being outdoors, staying busy, and making memories with the people he loved most.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean Brashars Neighbors, and the mother of his children, Amanda. He is survived by his children, Megan Embry, Bryanda Neighbors (Bo Ray), and Austin Neighbors and (Leah Moore), all of Morgantown, Kentucky. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Ayden, Easton, Paizley, Makayla, Zoey, Hartleigh, Xzavier, Ryker, McKinley, Braylee, and Oaklynn, who brought great joy to his life.

He is also survived by his father, Jr Neighbors of Morgantown, Kentucky; his siblings, Gloria Johnson (Shawn) of Morgantown, Kentucky, Michael Neighbors  (Rhonda) of Russellville, Kentucky, and Nikki Greenwood (Matt) of Morgantown, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, June 12, 2026 at 11:30am with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery where Ayden Neighbors, Dewayne Wilson, Zach Johnson, Steven Neighbors, Matt Greenwood and Scottie Mitchell will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:30am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
