Bobby Wayne Deweese

Bobby Wayne Deweese, age 81, of Butler County, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Medical Center Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Brenda Sue Deweese; his brother, Johnny Deweese; his sisters, Anna Mae Deweese, Jo Dean Cox, Jackie Haynes, and Judy Burden; and his grandson, Thomas Cherry.

Bobby Wayne Deweese is survived by his daughter, Melinda Faye Voiles; his granddaughter, Deni Satterfield and her husband Tony; his grandsons, Dustin Meier and his wife Amber, and Chris Cherry and his wife Cierra; and eight great-grandchildren, Alycianna Roberson, Kassian Roberson, Karver Meier, Tate Meier, Trinity Cherry, Brendan Cherry, Gavin Cherry, and Adley Cherry. Bobby lived a life defined by hard work, devotion, and the simple joys that make life meaningful. He dedicated 37 years of service to Clark Beverage Group, proudly retiring after a long and faithful career with Coca-Cola. His work ethic and commitment were an example to all who knew who knew him. Outside of work, he found happiness in the things he loved most. He was a devoted fan of UK Wildcats Basketball and Atlanta Braves Baseball and he could often be found enjoying a good Western. Earlier in life, he loved the freedom of riding horses and the trill of old muscle cars. Those passions reflected his adventurous spirit and appreciation for timeless things. Later in life, his greatest joys became the quieter blessings of retirement, tending to his garden, and most of all, spending time with his family. He treasured those moment deeply, and the love he gave to those around him will never be forgotten. Bobby attended Leonard Oak Baptist Church, and leaves behind a legacy of dedication, strength and the love.
