Linda Lou Nash Sowders

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Linda Lou Nash Sowders, 85, of Roundhill passed away with family by her side April 12, 2026 at her son’s home in Bee Spring.

The Mitchell, IN native was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard, going to yard sales, thrift stores and Walmart. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Nash and Nelly Sullivan Nash and the wife of the late Hayward “Sam” Sowders. She was preceded in death by a son, Trenton “Spider” Sowders; a grandson, Michael Sowders; a brother, James Nash; and three sisters, Lottie Coates, Debbie Beville and Betty Pringle.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cub Creek Cemetery. Visitation will take place 11:00 AM-7:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday.

Surviving are six sons, Michael “Bosky” Sowders (Regina), Gary “Red” Sowders (Leeann), David Sowders and Jeff Sowders (Shannon) all of Roundhill; Rick Sowders (Cindy) of Bowling Green and Timmy Sowders (Patricia) of Bee Spring; a daughter-in-law, Donna Sowders of Park City; a brother, Lee Sullivan of Bedford, IN; 25 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Julie Wilson.
