Jacqueline "Jackie" Rhoades, age 81 of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Wednesday, February 2, 1944, in Louisville, KY, Jackie's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, and faith.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Sr. and Olive Carroll Guest; her husband, Walter "Buddy" Rhoades III; her loving daughter, Tammy Rhoades Mullins; and her brother, John W. Guest Jr. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her son, Tony Rhoades (Lisa) of Morgantown, KY; her grandchildren, Ciara Colter of Morgantown, KY, Tyler Rhoades (Shelby) Owensboro, KY, Britney Lee (Todd) Morgantown, KY, Shelby White (Michael) Owensboro, KY, Laura Flener (Keston) Morgantown, KY, Jacqueline Rhoades of Morgantown, KY, Emily Mullins, and Becky Mullins both of Lexington, KY; and her nine great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Jackie loved spending time with her family, she was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church, her commitment to her church family was evident in her volunteer work, where she generously gave her time and talents as a secretary, both at the Department of Human Resources and within the church office. Jackie enjoyed doing cross-stitch, word puzzles, and her love for animals was boundless. She also enjoyed playing bingo at the nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2:00pm with Bro. Greg Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery where Michael White, Chandler Ryan, Tyler Rhoades, Andrew Neighbors, Casey Shavers and Leevi King will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9:00am - 5:00pm and Sunday 11:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
