Sandra Kay Rife, known affectionately as Sandra to all who loved her, passed away peacefully at the age of 60 at her home in Morgantown, KY, on September 23, 2025. Born on November 17, 1964, in Warren County, KY, Sandra was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life, touching the hearts of many with her warm presence and generous spirit.

Sandra's legacy is carried on by her adoring family, including her four children; Tekiesha Gray of Morgantown, KY, Jared Rife (Whitney) of Auburn, KY, Jason Rife of Morgantown, KY, and Nekayah Gray of Morgantown, KY. She was a doting grandmother to five beloved grandchildren; Chris Worth of Beaver Dam, KY, Ethan Gray of Beaver Dam, KY, Raelynn Rife of Auburn, KY and Hunter Lawson of Auburn, KY. The joy of her life was further multiplied by her great-grandchild, Jacob Worth of Beaver Dam, KY. Sandra also leaves behind her devoted sister Ann Howard (Ed) of Morgantown, KY; her special cousin Lindle Keown (Noreta) of Morgantown, KY and numerous cherished nieces and nephews and cousins.

Sandra's life was preceded in death by her dear parents, Volley “Doris” and Alma Jean Keown, her loving husband, Jeffery "Jeffro" Rife, and her treasured sister, Linda Gray. Her family takes solace in knowing that she is now reunited with them in eternal peace.

An embodiment of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness, Sandra was a person who left a lasting imprint on the lives of those she encountered. Her heart found joy in the simplicity of life's pleasures. The beach was her sanctuary, a place where she felt most at peace with the soothing sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun on her skin. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent in their bustling company. Family reunions, a time of joyful gatherings and shared stories, were moments that Sandra looked forward to with great anticipation, enriching the family tapestry with her laughter and love.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lindle Keown officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens where Jared Rife, Jason Rife, William Keown, Cody Russ, John Babler, Hunter Lawson, Tyrone Rife and Quandell Crowe will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 9:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
