Caitlyn Malaya Johns, age 20 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Born on Wednesday, January 12, 2005, in Henry County, GA, Caitlyn's infectious smile and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Caitlyn was the daughter of Calie Jo Hunt Johns of Morgantown, KY, and John Floyd Johns II (Barbara) of Florida. Her life was further enriched by her siblings: Zach Johns (Sophia) of Athens, GA, and Amber Michelle Johns of Hogansville, GA. Caitlyn's family circle extended to include her five step-siblings, Shannon Schmidt (CJ) of Florida, Nelson Muniz of Florida, Steven McKee of TN, Justin McKee (Autmn) of TN, and Hunter Johns of Hogansville, GA. Her grandfather, Gary Hunt of Morgantown, KY, and grandmother, Barbara Johns of Hogansville, GA, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, also survive her.

Caitlyn's life was one of joy and passion. She had an innate love for beauty and self-expression, she enjoyed doing her hair, makeup and shopping. Caitlyn's adventurous spirit led her to enjoy the great outdoors, where she found peace and excitement in fishing. A true child of the digital age, Caitlyn embraced social media, particularly TikTok, where she connected with friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
